Chiropractic care is beneficial for people of all ages including infants, seniors, and pregnant women
First Chiropractic Visit
- Patients will fill out a health history form
- Next the patient and chiropractor will discuss these forms together
- Then the chiropractor will perform a physical exam and determine if further imaging such as x-rays are required
- After the health history, physical exam and potential imaging results the chiropractor will discuss your diagnosis and recommend what treatment is best for you
Diagnostic Imaging & Referral
Your chiropractor can refer you for publicly funded diagnostic imaging and make referrals to medical specialists including orthopedics, neurology, and rheumatology
Frequency of Treatment
The frequency of treatment is determined by each individual’s needs
Insurance Coverage
At Prairie Chiropractic we offer DIRECT BILLING to most major insurance companies including (Sunlife, Alberta Blue Cross, Telus Assure, Greenshield, Canadalife, GroupSource, GroupHealth, Desjardins, Canadian Benefit Providers, Equitable Life)
Senior’s Funding
- The Government of Alberta provides Alberta Blue Cross coverage for health -related services not covered under Alberta Health Care.
- All seniors have access to an annual maximum of $200 per member every benefit year (July 1 to June 30) for chiropractic
- There is a per-visit limit of $25 per visit
